Oh, this is so much the acorn falling not far from the tree, Neil! I hope you’ll post this on Flickr, too.
Hi Mim… So far, all of these photos (in the Photography category) are from his flickr stream. I put a link to the original flickr posting below each image.
I have not yet posted any previously un-posted photos of his. That will be soon… I’m working with my mom on those.
By the way… I have a print of this image hanging in my office at home. I love it.
I love it, too. I just added it to my Driven to Abstraction 2 gallery on Flickr. Thanks.
(Next time I’ll read the caption. I usually do and don’t know why I didn’t.)
I love this, too. Horst had such a unique and lighthearted way of presenting the world as he saw it. I love that he is still putting a smile on my face!
I so remember this photo! I was thinking today about Horst when I went on Flickr and realized again that he was not there. Horst was gracious enough to buy my photography book…..and now I think we are all wondering if there will be a book of most or all of Horst’s photos….I, for one, would love to purchase it.
I think of you and your family often. May peace be with you.
Pixie
yes a book would be a great idea! I’d love to have that too.
thank you for sharing your dad with us Neil.
